BestStart Whangaparaoa Officially opens!
BestStart Whangaparaoa recently celebrated it’s official opening by welcoming our local MP, Mark Mitchell and BestStart’s Deputy Chief Executive, Fiona Hughes, into our centre to officially open it! The special morning was shared by some of our BestStart tamariki who enjoyed performing some songs, Whangaparaoa College’s Kapa Haka group, BestStart Management and Coast Plaza representatives.
It was a great morning to be able to come together to celebrate our journey to opening as well as to have some yummy cake!
A special thank you to our BestStart representatives, children and teachers as well as Mark Mitchell and Whangaparaoa College for attending. Our children are still talking about the College’s Haka, and it is a connection which we will continue to foster!
Our special opening plaque sits in our entranceway and is a daily reminder to us all of this exciting day.
