Learning in the Rua Room at BestStart Riccarton
Here at BestStart Riccarton our preschool classroom is not only spacious but has a beautiful outside area for our 2 to 4 year olds where they can play and learn alongside their peers. And the kaiako here at Riccarton love create amazing learning spaces for our tamariki to learn and explore.
You see here at Riccarton we know that being 2, 3 or 4 year olds they love to be super busy, love to learn new things and practice using their gross and fine motor skills. And our kaiako love setting up activities where they can practice their coordination such as obstacle courses, or just revisiting experiences they have seen happening at home such as baking in the sandpit. Our Kaiako also love setting up activities where our tamariki can have lots of fun while exploring numbers and letters. But we also know that at times our tamariki love to have those quite inside learning moments.
Inside our Kaiako ensure the environments are set up with lots of amazing table top activities such as revisiting their favourite stories alongside their peers or having those independent creative moments where they can let their imagination run wild.
