2023 Autumn Festival
2023 saw the return of the famous Arrowtown Autumn Festival, an event that has been cancelled in previous years due to covid. It is a huge event for our wee community, as it brings lots of visitors to the town and a week's worth of events to attend. This year we participated in the Autumn Festival Parade. The children, families, and teachers all dressed in autumn colours of red, yellow, and orange - and some even made their own costumes!
We teamed up with another local business, The Remarkables Experience Bus, which provided a safe space for our children to be in the parade. There were loads of floats in the parade representing businesses, groups, and clubs in our community. The children all waved and greeted the thousands and thousands of people lining the Main Street of Arrowtown with such happy smiling faces. We saw lots of people we knew and some of our families and teachers were in the crowd waving back at us.
The Autumn festival is an annual event and one that we have participated in for a very long time. It's a great way to connect with our community, meet new people, and give the children an amazing experience that they will remember.
