A Bay Kindy Christmas
December has been hyped with all the fun of planning for Christmas at BestStart Bay Kindy. The centre has been decked out with beautiful decorations some made by the children, and some made by the team. There has been lots of fun learning experiences from making snow globs, to decorating cut salt dough shapes for the children to take home and pop on their own Christmas tree.
With Covid our Christmas part for our children and whanau was done a little different this year. We allowed only one parent per family to attend between the hours of 11:30-3:00 and as it was outside social distancing which is the new norm was not an issue. Santa who was fully vaccinated arrived on his motor bike to give all the tamariki a gift. It was so enjoyable and well received by everyone that could attend.
