Here in the Kiwi room at BestStart Aidanfield we have enjoyed playing outside! One of the activities we set up this week was glitter and salt with lots of different spoons, measuring cups, bottles and funnels! The children loved rubbing their hands all over the salt feeling the texture through their fingers. This encourages them to see what the salt feels like, looks like and even tastes like. Also, they are developing their fine motor skills and hand eye coordination skills with scooping up the salt and pouring it into the bottles and the funnels.
