A Happy Mother's Day at BestStart Kauri Flats
As educators, working closely with families to provide children with the best possible learning experience is very important. Effective whānau engagement also involves understanding and embracing the unique needs of each child and family. Our recent Mother's Day celebrations at BestStart Kauri Flats showcased how we warmly welcome families into our centre, immersing in their children's learning and activities.
Our Mother's Day celebration at the Center was all about honoring the incredible women in our lives. We wanted to give the children a chance to show their love and gratitude to their mothers and grandmothers, so we planned a range of activities to allow them to do just that. From making handmade gifts and cards to baking delicious cupcakes, the children could express their feelings and show their appreciation in a fun and meaningful way. We hoped to create a truly special and memorable Mother's Day celebration by supporting the children in celebrating the important women in their lives.
To all the amazing mothers and grandmothers, thank you for your unwavering love, support, and guidance. Your selflessness and devotion have been a constant source of inspiration for your children, enabling them to grow into confident and capable individuals.
