This year BestStart Kawaha Point’s annual Matariki Celebration was celebrated with a shared kai, a movie viewing of our tamariki re enacting How Maui fished up Aotearoa, followed by a slide show of special moments captured featuring our tamariki.

Next up was a delicious shared kai and dessert followed by an arts and crafts activities decorating lanterns from recycled glass jars and being creative with recycled  centre-made paper and  natural resources, which is the essence of our centre resources.
