A Pirates Life for Me!

We celebrated all things “Piratey” at BestStart Havelock North with a fun dress up day. There were some very scary pirates with scars and swords, and lots of pirate talk. Our creative chef made a range of pirate themed kai, with pirate pie and even an “octopus” vegetable platter. The children made pirate flags and there was lots of music, singing, dancing and a very special storytelling session of “Pirate Stew”, Neil Gaman’s latest book fresh off the press. Then it was time to walk the plank as our pirate crew bravely took the challenge.

Lots of pirate fun was had by all….arrrrrrrrrhhh!
