At the start of this month, we celebrated Matariki with our whanau and tamariki ay BestStart Waihi East!

The kapahaka group from Waihi East School performed for us before we had kai together. Our tamariki had peeled many vegies the day before for the soup and boil-up. Kaikako and tamariki had also done a lot of baking for the occasion. 

After kai, the Harleys, who are grandparents of one of our youngest toddlers, gave us a wonderful Matariki concert! There was a lot of dancing and singing and lucky for us: the sun was shining!

Please join us for our Christmas celebration in December! The Harleys will be back to celebrate with us again!
