During this experience nga tamariki waited for their turn, chose stickers of interest to them, used their fine motor skills to remove the stickers and carefully placed it in the spaces.  As the pages filled with stickers nga tamariki had to make careful choices of stickers that were big or small enough to fit in the spaces and not go over other stickers.  Some tamariki found it challenging initially to remove the stickers but with one demonstration most saw how easy it was.  The experiences got the children using their language to name the stickers some of which had shapes, fruit, animals and items of clothing on them.  Nga tamariki were very proud of their finished work, which are on display in the classroom.
