A time for giving

For the festive season the children at BestStart Greenmeadows were invited to do some Christmas baking, however there was a twist. Instead of eating the cookies for ourselves, we would be making them for our wonderful neighbours! With kindness in our hearts, we worked together to bake chocolate chip shortbread.

After wrapping and putting all of our baking together, we set out the next day to deliver the goodies. Our neighbours loved seeing us at their front doors, we stayed for a little chat and wished everyone Merry Christmas. This was a wonderful opportunity for the children to take part in giving back to their community and making connections to their wider world; an important part of our Centre Vision.
