Today we headed out to visit one of our other centres called BestStart Puketaha. They happily allowed us to come and explore the large farm at their centre. Not only did we have an amazing time exploring their wonderful playground environment, but we were also able to get up close with a range of animals. We took turns at holding, patting and feeding them. We especially enjoyed meeting the two large pigs that they have at their centre, that like following you around in the paddocks. There teacher shared all kinds of facts with us around the animals that live there and we were able to take this information, bringing it back to the centre to further extend our learning around farmyard animals.

At Huntington, we value the relationships that we build with our other centres, we are all learning and it is important that we can support one another on these learning journeys.
