Our tamariki love to be creative and express themselves through art, dance, songs, and dress up. In the nursery we have explored a range of ways tamariki could be creative and expressive to celebrate this years Halloween. Today we celebrated with a dress up party, dancing and singing as a group. Through dancing the tamariki were able to release their emotions and express their feelings.

Throughout the week our tamariki were also offered experiences that allowed their creativity to flourish, with art experiences such as painting paper plate pumpkins, or sticking different materials onto contact paper to make a ghost. Another favourite experience in the nursery was the messy/sensory play experience where we asked the tamariki to find the spiders amongst the ice, gloop, foam and bubbles!
