A week of holiday fun
During the school holidays we like to organise a fun week with our tamariki at the centre. For each day of the last week of the school holidays we had an activity/event. On the Monday we had Anzac day off and got into it on Tuesday with everyone dressing in their pyjamas and had milo, toast and cookies for afternoon tea. Wednesday was bike day! We had Bike Wise Taupo come with their bikes to teach our children to ride on two wheels. Our infants and toddlers also came out with their trikes and scooters and sped around the track with the big kids. This Cath’s support it is always a great opportunity to get physical out in the carpark and utilise her expertise on how to ride pedal bikes.
Thursday we had a wacky hair day and our kaiako/teachers styled the tamariki hair throughout the day. The children loved having glitter and lots of hair ties and braids in their hair. On the final day of our fun week we had a dress up day with your favourite outfit.
All of our staff and children had an awesome week and were excited for each days events. We can’t wait for the next school holidays for another week of exciting events.
