Active Play at BestStart Nottingham Avenue
At BestStart Nottingham Avenue, we are very fortunate to be able to offer wonderful large outdoor playground areas with established trees and gardens. Our children are encouraged to become active explorers of their environment, under close supervision, and controlled risk conditions.
Active Play encourages movement, and allows children to develop their gross motor skills, balance, and coordination, while exploring their environment. It encourages children to lead their own play, take risks, use their imaginations, developing their confidence, self-esteem, problem-solving, and communication skills.
