BestStart Manly love getting out into the community as much as possible. From a recent survey, teachers found out that one of the most important reasons families choose to live up on the Hibiscus Coast is because of the close proximity of the beaches. Understanding that this is valued within our centre community, we visit the beach as much as possible. Not only do we explore flowers, the sand, branches and sticks but we also sit and connect with nature through admiring the beautiful view. It is a chance for our children to experience this like they would at home, but with their friends and teachers. We often collect shells and sticks to bring back to use in our play and this is well loved by all children. Waving to local community members driving past is also lots of fun! We look forward to continuing these excursions while learning about people, places and things of our local Hibiscus Coast.
