At the heart of International Pirate Day, Beststart Papamoa Plaza hosted a treasure trove of engaging activities that ignited the imaginations of our young adventurers.
From dressing up as pirates to navigating a specially crafted pirate ship play area, every child set sail on an unforgettable day of pirate-themed fun.
The treasure hunt, complete with clues and hidden treasures, added an extra dash of excitement, while "walking the plank" turned tamariki into a fearless pirate.
Crafting stations, spirited storytelling, and lively pirate songs and dances kept spirits high, and face painting added an authentic touch.
For moments of quiet creativity, coloring and activity sheets with pirate motifs were on hand. The little scallywags also had a blast constructing their own pirate ships and treasure chests.
