The senior room tamariki have been absolutely loving anything to do with construction and building things.

So, when a HUGE box got delivered to the senior children there was only one thing to be done…make a tower! Alex became the project manager overlooking all the decisions made, where boxes went, colours of the paint used and looked over all the other senior children’s plans of what they wanted to do. The quick decision Alex came to was…bigger! More boxes were arranged, and Alex placed each box where he wanted it, each hour the tower was growing bigger and becoming more complex with all the senior tamariki working on it under Alex’s watchful eye. Through amazing leadership, team work, collaboration and communication skills came this wonderful, BIG amazing tower.
