All about rugby!
We have been talking about Japan, and the different countries that the New Zealand All Blacks will be versing. We have also been discussing and practicing our rugby skills outside, so we decided to take a few very interested tamariki to the rugby field to develop some more rugby/ball skills. We were lucky enough to have a local rugby player come in and join us and teach us a few new things. All the tamariki loved having someone they were allowed to tackle on to the ground!
What is active movement? Koringa Hihiko
Active movement is just as important for newborns as it is for older children. By helping your child get active, you help their body develop, you help them to learn and to feel safe, and you show them they are loved.
Active movement helps your child to:
Build the foundations for learning, moving and communicating.
Develop intellectually, emotionally, socially and spiritually, as well as physically.
Be healthy and happy, confident and feel loved.
