Our days are full of activities and fun - no two are ever the same. Here are a few tidbits of our days so far this month...

Our tamariki spent time together making a ‘birthday cake’ using corkscrews and a tree stump from the loose parts area in Kotare Room. Our loose parts play enables our children to use their imaginations to create beautiful learning experiences.

In our Tui Room for our three years olds we are developing our skills in early literacy and name recognition. Everyday our children have the opportunity to freely engage in rich literacy and numeracy activities through every age group in our centre.

In Piwakawaka Room (our under 2s), our older babies help our new pepe settle into their new learning and development space. One of our older babies checked with his new friend first to make sure she was happy for him to help her with her kai.

Two of our tamariki spent the morning rugged up warm and cosy inside – while creating this enormous dinosaur kingdom using wooden blocks of every shape and size.
