Animal Washing Station
Animal Washing fun in the preschool After our such an amazing Pablo Picasso painting experience, children wanted to get the tarp out again. However, this time we did not engage in painting, but we got animals, tubs, and water out. As currently children love messy and water play. Thus, it was great opportunity to follow their lead and reciprocate to their currency. To make our animals dirty we covered them with shaving foam and further luke warm water was poured in the tubs to help children to clean the animals. Tamariki had such a great time exploring sensory and messy play and simultaneously looking after their resources and cleaning them. During this experience, children were provided with an opportunity for open-ended exploration of materials and their properties. It allowed them to use their natural curiosity and engage their senses at the developmental level appropriate for them. They learned foundational cognitive principles as they exercise motor, language, and social skills
