Helping children to be kind, respectful and providing them language and strategies to solve their problems and stand up for themselves is a big part of our curriculum. We have taken the opportunity of Pink Day to celebrate antibullying day and re emphasize the learning to be socially and emotionally confident and resilient. With lots of art and craft, stories and videos, dressing up and food we had many in depth discussions with children about no bullying. Fresh warm waffles with pink cream made with raspberry were the highlight of the day for our tamariki.
