ANZAC Morning
On Anzac morning, the children and teachers at BestStart Petone presented our wreath they had been busy making during the week at the Petone memorial service at the Petone Train Station. We had such a great turn out for an early morning start and the children enjoyed learning about Anzac Day throughout the week through a variety of art activities and storytelling. Following the ceremony we had breakfast at the centre as a way for our whanau to connect. We are proud to be a part of our local community and enhancing our children's connections and understandings of how they contribute to society.
