Apple Harvest!

Over the past while we have been working on our Healthy Heart Award and learning about how to take care of our bodies and keep ourselves healthy.

Today we got to do the first harvest of one of our apple trees. All the children joined in and had a wonderful time. Everyone has been waiting very patiently for our apples to ripen and were super excited that they got to help Beverley pick them. After we picked them we put them out the front for our tamariki to take home and enjoy. Our next harvest will be in a few weeks and they are stewing apples so we are all looking forward to making to yummy apple pie.
