We celebrated Art Deco and turned BestStart Havelock North back in time to the 1930s. We listened to jazz music, had a high tea morning tea with a selection of cucumber and tomato sandwiches, freshly made scones with jam and cream and fresh summer fruit platter of watermelon and rock melon.  

Everyone enjoyed helping Vicki make the derby cars and tested the cars out all morning. In the afternoon, the children all joined in in the derby races and apple bobbing games. It was such a wonderful, fun and enjoyable day. We hope all the children come home and share their Art Deco day at BestStart with you too.
