 Our annual Art Exhibition at BestStart Judea is always a much-anticipated event. This year the theme was ‘seasons’, with each class choosing a different one. In the lead up to the event, kaiako (teachers) set up a wide variety of art experiences using different resources associated with their class’s theme. Tamariki (children) then chose which experiences they wanted to participate in. With the rooms all set up with the children’s beautiful art, parents were led by the children around the centre. The excitement on the children’s faces was awesome to see.

This evening is a great way for children to display confidence as they show their family and friends their art around the centre. Forming and strengthening connections is one of the many highlights of this event. It is a chance for teachers and parents to meet or catch up.
