Autumnal delight at Girven Road

With the change of seasons at BestStart Girven Road we had noticed the leaves changing colour in and around our centre. When very strong winds brought down most of the dried leaves from the trees into our playgrounds we were very excited to get amongst them. Knowing what fun our tamariki would have exploring these we raked the leaves that were in our Pukeko Nest playground into a big pile and waited for the fun to begin.  The tamariki were very excited when they saw the pile of leaves and ran straight towards it, and of course of our kaiako joined in with the fun, watching the leaves fall, making leaf angels and listening to the crunching sound under our feet. Don't you love seeing the change of the seasons through nature.
