Today we went for a hikoi and here are some of the photos taken! We're happy the weather cleared up for us in the morning after the miserable weather we've had the last couple days. It was wonderful getting out in the prams for a hikoi to visit our local awa (river) as part of our local curriculum learning! We also picked up some fluffies on our way to enjoy with our kai for our pinic. We walked along way the Avon river/Ōtakro awa to find ourselves a picnic table. We saw some fire truck on the way that looked like they were squirting water/wai into the river/awa. We then had a wonder around the big grassy area exploring the plants before heading back to school.
