Awesome mat time skills
We love to play the game "this is what I can do" which involves each child having a turn to act out an action and everyone else copies them. The children displayed wonderful participation at mat time and put their hands up with their answers. This shows great listening skills. This game is also great for strengthening children's turn-taking and waiting skills, and we get to see the children supporting each other through active listening and following their choices. These are awesome skills for them to have and develop.
