We have been supporting children to learn what being kind looks look in our preschool room. We have looked at big books about friendship, had a brainstorm of what we think being kind means and put on a puppet show of what kindness and unkindness looks like. During this process, the children have used their voices to share their ideas and gain a deeper understanding of what kindness looks like. They have discovered what is needed to put on a show for others including welcoming people into the room, performing in front of others and making tickets.
