BestStart Tironui Road during lockdown
Thank goodness for Storypark and Zoom :)!!!.
Through Storypark and Zoom we were able to virtually keep in touch with our tamariki and whanau during isolation. It was great for us to continue to work with our families with our BestStart@Home learning programme and just keeping everyone connected. Moreover, it was awesome to see all the amazing learning experiences that our parents had the opportunity to do with their children at home too and share it on Storypark. Our whanau shared lots of photos and stories of our tamariki enjoying arts and crafts, baking, dancing, getting out and about, mowing the lawns, etc to everyone developing a common interest in bugs.
In spite of this lockdown, it was a great opportunity for all our families to spend some quality time together and we are happy to still be apart of that. We certainly missed everyone and we are happy to be back!
