Building strong connections with our local libraries has been a priority at Mangere East. Today, we were thrilled to host one of our community librarians, Bevis, who brought a world of stories to our tamariki. Their faces lit up with joy as they immersed themselves in tales accompanied by delightful puppetry, enchanting songs, and even some spontaneous dancing.

Every room had the pleasure of spending quality time with Bevis, and the excitement was palpable. Our children eagerly participated in the interactive sessions, eagerly absorbing new words and concepts while expressing their creativity through play.

This enriching experience not only fostered a love for reading but also nurtured valuable skills such as listening and social interaction. As educators, witnessing the genuine enthusiasm of our tamariki reaffirmed the importance of such collaborative efforts with our local community.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to Bevis and our local library for their dedication to enriching the lives of our children. Together, we are creating lasting memories and inspiring a lifelong love for learning.
