Recently we heard all about a new bugs exhibit "Bugs! Our Backyard Heroes" at the Waikato Museum and thought it would be a wonderful excursion to go on to support our children around making sense of the world around them. These experiences help us to get to know our new children, discovering their interests and how we can further extend on these. They had many experiences on offer for us to try. This visit provoked further curiosity, which we were able to follow up with a visit to our local library on the way home to answer some of these new questions.
