During the last month at BestStart Glasgow Street we have been focusing on exploring the outdoor environment and developing our gross motor skills.

This also allows for the growth of the loco-motor brain development from using the left and right hand sides of the body.

We’ve mixed our gross motor activities with fine motor activities  which is good for helping to develop the muscles that tamariki need to use to learn how to hold a pen.
