Bula! Celebrating Fiji Day
Knowledge of self, of cultural identity, values and language gives people a sense of pride to stand strong in who they are, which in turn provides a sense of well-being. At Beststart Flatbush we embrace and believe children learn best in environments where their identities are valued.
To celebrate Fijian Language week on the online platform, the team took pride in sharing the glimpse of Fiji Islands with our lovely whanau and tamariki through videos. Our teaching team has also shared a Fijian traditional Meke performance with our children and family. Children enjoyed watching our performance through StoryPark.
