Under the Sea!
This month in the Piwakawaka room, we have been using our imaginations to explore. Our tamariki loved singing Baby Shark and Slippery Fish as they used the sea animals to swim around in the blue slime. Messy sensory experiences like this support our tamariki to get creative while they learn with, and alongside, each other. Extending our imaginative play as a group supports cognitive thinking, self-expression, and confidence. What a fun morning we had!
