Busy Toddlers
This week has been a very busy week in Toddlers with fun and smiles from everyone. They have been getting ready for Matariki celebrations by planting kumara, singing waiata, telling legends, art, and practicing our concert we will perform for our parents at the end of the month.
Lots of sensory experiences have also been had, learning how to manipulate playdough with our fingers to create 3 dimensional masterpieces.
Hanging balloons with sand, dirt and bark outside were batted with hands making them swing like a pendulum. The children used their hand eye coordination, to hit it back and forwards, making the balloon swing as far as they could and as fast as they could.
There has been so much our tamariki have experienced this week, we look forward to next weeks fun with our friends!
