Butterfly Creek Trip
What a great time we had exploring Butterfly Creek!
It was a great opportunity to spend time together with our friends, teachers and families. Having a train ride, exploring the farm area, going through the butterfly enclosure and seeing the crocodile being fed were very special and exciting as our tamariki have been interested and learning about animals and insects, as well as taking care of our environment over the past few weeks. The butterfly enclosure area was really warm and some children found it uncomfortable yet interesting at the same time. This experience shows how taking care of our environment is important to the world we live in and it shows that it's important to take care of animals and insects too.
