Caring Tamariki
It is April and almost Easter, but Kalis is super excited to have his baby brother attend as well. He would help Mum at home with special care routines, and now Kalis can support his teachers as they build relationships with our newest baby at Brooklyn. Helping Tame to sit still long enough so he can have an Easter photo too was just one of the special jobs that Kalis enjoys. Giving cuddles before bottles or bed is another special time.
Even though Tame is Kalis's baby brother, Tame has brought so much joy into BestStart Brooklyn. Angelica has seen how the teachers are giving Tame a bottle before putting him to bed. Angelica is role modelling what she sees around her. She also gives her baby a bottle, a cuddle, and light patting on the baby's back to help bring up the wind before putting her baby to bed.
