Today I decided to get the carpentry table out. I set it up with pieces of wood, nails and plastic bottle lids. 

First, we talked about how to keep safe at the carpentry table.

We started with hammering in some nails and then some of the older children added some plastic lids.

This was a great opportunity for concentration, keeping safe, hand-eye coordination, fine motor skills and strengthening their muscles.
