BestStart Kenderdine was filled with excitement as we celebrated BestStart’s 30th Birthday! This special milestone gave us the opportunity to come together as a learning community and create joyful experiences for all our tamariki across our five learning rooms.
Each room planned age-appropriate birthday activities that reflected the interests and developmental stages of the children. Our babies and toddlers had a wonderful time creating colourful party hats and beautiful birthday cards. They explored a range of art materials while developing their creativity and fine motor skills in a fun and meaningful way.
Our older children enjoyed imaginative birthday-themed experiences, including making playdough cupcakes and taking part in pretend birthday celebrations. They decorated their creations, sang “Happy Birthday”, and shared their pretend treats with friends and teachers, encouraging creativity, communication, and cooperative play.
Throughout the day, every room celebrated in its own unique way, creating a happy atmosphere filled with laughter, learning, and friendship. It was wonderful to see our tamariki engaging with one another, sharing special moments, and celebrating together.
We are proud to be part of the BestStart whānau and grateful to celebrate 30 years of nurturing children, building strong relationships, and creating meaningful learning experiences.
