Celebrating Chinese New Year at BestStart Baverstock Oaks
We had a lot of fun during our Chinese New Year Celebration! The teachers and children did lots of fun activities together. We wrote Chinese Character to decorate our room, invited our parents and whanau came to make dumplings with us. Our children enjoyed their dancing with Chinese Songs and of course enjoyed the dumpling they made by themselves. It's part of our Baverstock belief that our children's background and culture should be celebrated with pride, and we're really happy that we were able to engage our Asian families on this special occasion.
