Celebrating Culture and Creativity at WAM

The children at BestStart Naenae had an amazing time preparing and performing in our annual BestStart wearable arts show at Te Rauparaha Arena in Porirua. This year the theme was 'celebrating culture and creativity'. The children worked hard over the past 4 months to get their costumes ready for their big shoWw, each costume represented the different cultures we have here at BestStart Naenae and together they spell out the word 'Diversity'. We also included sign language into our performance as signing is a big part of our language used here at Naenae.
