At BestStart Manurewa Central we value, respect, and celebrate every culture. We celebrated Diwali the Indian festival of lights with our tamariki and whanau.

The children leading up to the actual day of celebration enjoyed making lanterns ,Diya, designing rangoli , henna ,making Indian sweets and practicing a dance performance. It was a great way to teach our children about different cultures, their ways of doing, being and knowing.

These wonderful opportunities create an awesome atmosphere and help us to strengthen our culture and relationship with each other.
