Celebrating Diwali at BestStart Ferry Road

Last week we celebrated Diwali which was so much fun for not only the tamariki but also for kaiako. It was lovely to see those that dressed up, and also shared some yummy Indian Kai from families. We played music and did some traditional art work, dancing and one of our kaiako Prakriti applied some hand henna on some tamariki and kaiako. We all sat around and watched as one of our kaiako created such a beautiful art piece where all tamariki were engaged with interest and wanting to give it go.
