At BestStart Parau Drive, we had a wonderful time celebrating Easter with our tamariki.
It was a fun-filled and joyful day where everyone joined in with excitement and happiness.
Our celebration started with an Easter egg hunt, which the tamariki were very excited about. They explored the outdoor playground, searching carefully for hidden eggs.
When they found them, there were little gifts inside, which brought big smiles to their faces. This activity supported their exploration skills and encouraged teamwork as they helped each other. We also had bunny face painting, which was a big highlight of the day.
Tamariki enjoyed choosing their designs and watching their faces transform into cute little bunnies. It was lovely to see their creativity and confidence as they looked at themselves in the mirror and shared their excitement with friends. Music and dance were also part of our celebration. Tamariki moved their bodies, danced freely, and enjoyed singing along to fun songs.
This created a happy and lively atmosphere where everyone felt included. It was a special day full of laughter, learning, and celebration. Our tamariki showed great enthusiasm, social skills, and creativity throughout the day.
