Matariki marks the start of the Mᾱori New Year and is a time to come together to reflect, celebrate life and each other, and set goals for the year ahead. This month we celebrated Matariki with a disco which was an absolute hit with our centre community. Everyone brought a plate for a shared kai and we all ate and danced the night away. 

Here at BestStart Pleasant Point we truly value our small community and love having the opportunity to strengthen our relationships with our whᾱnau. It is also great to be able to strengthen the involvement of whᾱnau within our programme.
