Celebrating the love and strength of mums, BestStart Birkdale hosted a cosy afternoon tea for Mother’s Day. With smiles, chats, and hands-on fun, it was a beautiful way for tamariki to honour their mums and for us to say a big thank you!
At BestStart Birkdale, we value the profound impact mothers have on the lives of their children. We adore the dedication it takes to balance work and family life, and we deeply respect all our mums for simply being themselves.
Just like roots hold a tree as it grows, a mother holds her child—being their first teacher, their first confidante, and their best friend. We want our tamariki to acknowledge, love, and respect the effort their mums put into their wellbeing, right from the very start.
As a learning community, we organised a small meet and greet over a shared afternoon tea on Friday, 9th May 2025, to say thank you to all our mums. Together with our tamariki, we celebrated these incredibly precious souls we call “Mum”.
There were lovely conversations, fun activities for mums and children to enjoy together, and of course, a quintessential photo session. A hearty shared afternoon tea set the perfect tone to kick off a meaningful Mother’s Day weekend.
