BestStart Birkdale

BestStart Birkdale is a modern early learning centre located in Birkdale, close to several local primary schools and with plenty of parking. We provide high-quality early education and award-winning childcare for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers.

At BestStart Birkdale, we believe each child is a unique, curious, and active explorer with the capability to navigate their learning journey. We believe it is our role to support and encourage children to lead their learning while providing them with the resources and opportunities to unlock their full potential.

We believe friendships are powerful and encourage our families, teachers, and children to be part of our warm and welcoming BestStart Birkdale community. We implement teaching initiatives for our preschool children to prepare them for their transition to primary school, which we incorporate into everyday practice. The initiative encourages children to use their developing self-help skills and provides a range of opportunities to extend their independence, assisting with the next step in their learning journey.

Our Team

Our passionate team of qualified teachers are dedicated to your child's care, learning, and empowering them to achieve their full potential. Our centre cook provides healthy and nutritious food for your children daily and we have a seasonal menu that is on a weekly rotation every 4 weeks. We are currently working towards our Healthy Heart award.

Each room is equipped with high-quality, age-focused resources designed to spark curious minds. Our indoor environments are connected to challenging outdoor areas, to encourage physical outdoor learning for your child.

Our outdoor environments are spacious and we have gorgeous playgrounds that provide a challenging, natural learning environment that build self-confidence while engaging their senses to cultivate curiosity and discovery.
