This week across our centre, our tamariki have been busy preparing thoughtful surprises to celebrate the amazing mums and special people in their lives. From handmade cards and special photos to meaningful little gifts created within the classrooms, every experience has been filled with love, creativity, and appreciation.

This year we wanted to make Mother’s Day even more special by creating new experiences for our families to enjoy together. Our hallway was transformed into a beautiful Mother’s Day photo booth space where families could stop, take photos, and capture special memories together.

One of the highlights this year has been our mug painting experience, where children had the opportunity to sit alongside their mum or special person and paint a mug together. This experience was more than just creating a gift; it was about spending quality time together, sharing conversations, expressing creativity, and creating lasting memories that families can treasure for years to come.

Alongside these experiences, we also loved hosting our Mother’s Day morning tea and welcoming families into our centre environment to celebrate together as a community.

We are so grateful for all the incredible mums and special people within our centre community.
